 About Margot

A licensed national tour guide, Margot's been working in tourism for the past 16 years, showing travelers the magic that is Peru.

She started out leading trekking trips to Machu Picchu and throughout the Cusco area, before switching gears and dedicating herself more to cultural and social tourism. She guides in Lima and Ica, leads excursions to the Ballestas islands (also knows as Peru’s Galapagos), and all throughout Southern Peru: Huacachina, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Puno, Puerto Maldonado, Paracas etc. Basically, she’s everywhere, all the time!

    Our Travel Consultations are the perfect service for travelers who are planning independently and want to make bookings and arrangements on their own, but also value local insight and expert advice.

  • During your consultation, Margot will answer all your travel questions, help you create or perfect your itinerary, share her local secrets, and give you recommendations on restaurants, activities, experiences, transportation, hidden gems, and more.

    While you’re chatting, she’ll share written notes, links, and other helpful resources directly via the chat box so that you can enjoy the conversation without frantically taking notes.

    Each consultation is unique and is entirely customized to you and your trip.

    Prior to your consultation, you’ll fill out a detailed questionnaire that really digs into you and your travel style, your interests, your questions, and your goals for the consultation.
    Margot will review this information in advance so that she comes into your call already prepared with recommendations and advice that are perfectly tailored to you.

  • Consultations for Peru cost $125 USD.

  • To schedule your call, just click the “Book a consultation” button bellow. This will open up Margot’s calendar, from where you'll be able to select a day and time to meet with her. Once you’ve finished scheduling, you’ll be redirected to our pre-consultation questionnaire.
